Seth Smith was born and raised in Wichita, KS.

He graduated from the University of Kansas in 2003 with a degree in painting and printmaking. He then moved to the Kansas City area and has been showing exclusively at The Rice Gallery of Fine Art since 2004. He is a member of the Kansas City Artist Coalition and has been included in their annual juried contemporary show.

Seth also had work selected for display at Governor Kathleen Sebelius’s inauguration ceremony. In 2006, the H&R Block World Headquarters acquired a piece of Seth’s for their permanent collection. His work has been shown all over the metro area and his collectors are scattered all over the country.

He currently has a studio Prairie Village, KS.
